In today’s fashion conscious world, people want everything to come coated with style. Helmets, used to protect our cranium while driving, have undergone a lot of changes in recent times. From a product of protection, they have become a style statement for the user. Keeping the current trend and usability in mind, Piers Storey has come up with the S-10 Concept Helmet that has been developed using the start of the art technology.

S-10 Concept Helmet by Piers Storey
Crafted from special materials like Dyneema carbon composite, it is quite efficient at managing energy and is penetration resistant. If the facade lends aesthetic beauty, then the inside lining dictates comfort. Koroyd, an energy efficient material, has been used to make the lining that has been fashioned around a honeycomb core material. It has a greater energy absorption tendency (up to 80%) and is much better that the EPS foam lining used in most of the helmets. The lining touts better performance than EPS and is also thinner by 25%.
While picking a helmet, we keep the circumference of our head in mind, but not anymore. S-10 will have a larger head cavity and the inner lining system will be removable. This will endow the user with a flexibility to purchase a lining that gives the best fit. The use of modular lining allows a variety of advantages. Rather than stocking a large range of shell sizes, a dealer will only have to stock inner linings of different sizes. This ensures that the helmet provides safety while improving concentration levels because of a better fit. Going out for a ride with friends and can’t find your helmet? Fret not more! Simply, borrow an S-10 and all you have to do is replace the liner with yours. Wow! The same helmet can be used for various activities like touring, racing, commuting, etc. All you have to do is, purchase the desired linings that will blend with different needs.
S-10 will unfurl a variety of options in terms of interior customization according to their head sizes. Wedging MP3 players and intercoms always pose a trouble, but the concept helmet will make it effortless. Low frequency noises produced due to turbulence can lead to hearing damage. To prevent this, the vents were fashioned in a way to be as flush with the shell’s surface as possible. They can be easily controlled with a gloved hand, which keep added distraction at bay. Volume of air can be controlled by turning the chin vent dial. Apt ventilation and air flow management is possible due to the usage of Koroyd. The cells of Koroyd can be angled in a tactical manner, which will further direct air through the helmet. S-10 Concept Helmet can be purchased keeping your head type and shape in size for a better fit.
