My favorite launch of innovative products at this week’s IMM Cologne. The Ready Made Cortain of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Kvadrat. They really stand out as designers, those brothers Bouroullec. Reinventing the products they design instead of redesigning.
The DIY sets include 2 fixtures, a cord, pegs and fabric. Fix the tow fixtures to the wall or ceiling, bring the cord under tenstion by winding it up, cut the fabric on length (no need for sewing or other finishings) and hang your curtain with the pegs. Finished!
The fabrics are great! I love the slightly translucent white one with its paper-like crispiness.
