ECOCARAT tiles, made by INAX known for it’s paperless toilet, contains a mineral “Allophane”. Allophane is a natural amorphous hydrous aluminium silicate, an clayey mineral contained in the volcanic ashes which has innumerable micro-pores. Also, allophane has an ionic exchange phenomenon. Because of it’s micro pores it can absorb VOC’s. After a day the level of Formaldehydes or toluene are reduced over 95% or up to non detectable levels.
ECOCARAT inhales and exhales humidity, consistently maintaining comfort levels in rooms. Its efficient humidity conditioning during damp or humid weather conditions ensures crisp and comfortable room air during sticky summers. The tiles also regulates condensation and dampness during winters, reducing the spread of mold and mites. It is capable of absorbing/releasing moisture 4 to 5 times better than diatomaceous wall surfaces, and 15 times better than hygroscopic wall paper (based on tests conducted by INAX).
It removes harmful substances present in rooms and banishes those lingering room smells from day to day living, creating air that is fresh and clean.
They can be used either on walls or on floors.
