After five years, MUJI will be holding the international competition for the MUJI AWARD 2013. Entry in October 2013.
The theme for this year’s awards will be “Long Lasting Design for Living”. MUJI is looking for designs suited to a modern lifestyle that incorporate the wisdom of past traditions, with a view of longevity where such designs will exist for the next 10, 50, even 100 years. The awards event will be held in China where rapid development and long history coexist, a land where tradition and future intersect. Anyone can enter the contest whether freelancers, students, from everywhere on our globe.
Japanese Muji is known for its minimalistic affordable design in furniture, fashion, food, office supplies and cooking utensils.
