Fridge carafe with neoprene cover
Perfect for water, juice and iced tea, which can be brewed directly in the 1 litre carafe using the tea filter from an Eva Solo tea maker. A reminiscence of the good old milk bottle and yet so much more is this fridge-carafe, created by the Danish designer duo Claus Jensen/ Henrik Holbæk (Tools Design) for Eva Solo. The bottle has a classical outline, only the diameter of its neck is a little wider than usual, in order to be able to add for instance refreshing slices of lemon or ice cubes, depending on the content. The material is simply glass. The carafe is topped off by a patented flip-top cap made of stainless steel and black silicone, which also gives it its noble impression and turns it into a pleasant dinner guest: the cap grants drip-free pouring. When the carafe is tilted, the cap opens automatically – and only just as wide to let the liquid through. Mint leaves, lime wedges or whatever else is chosen to enrich the content of your carafe with its flavours, remain inside.
Won a red dot award for it.
