Charge mobile phones and gadgets with kinetic energy

Sustainability Aspects: Using kinetic energy to charge your devices on the road. You only need to carry it around or give it a good shake

PEG

To solve the problem that you run out of battery power in the middle of nowhere, Tremont Electric created the nPower PEG, a personal energy generator. The device was designed to be carried in a backpack or purse while you take a walk or run, capturing kinetic energy generated by your movements to charge portable gadgets like cell phones, cameras and mp3 players. A basic shake can make a difference, charging the battery of your phone long enough for you to make an important call.

Extend the use time of your cell phone, Mp3 player, GPS, and other hand-held devices from the energy you generate while walking, running, and biking.

nPower PEG includes:

  • USB Cable (to charge your PEG from a USB charger or computer)
  • iGo Cable (to connect your PEG to your hand-held device)
  • Micro USB iGo Adapter Tip, which connects to PEG to newer-model Blackberry, Motorola, HTC, LG, Nokia, Samsung, and Sony Ericsson devices. Click here for more on compatibility. Additional adapter tips are available, making the nPower PEG compatible with over 3,000 devices
