Sustainability Aspects: Woodcast is a completely non-toxic and perfectly mouldable & remouldable cast material suitable for all casting work. It is manufactured from clean wood and biodegradable plastic and can be moulded without water or rubber gloves.

Woodcast

In addition to being non-toxic and clean, Woodcast sheets are fast and easy to work with: the heated sheets moulds easily to any (anatomical) shape. Woodcast can be adjusted and re-adjusted over and over again by being heated.

1–2 mm Woodcast can be easily cut both cold and warm. Support and rigidity can be adjusted by layering and combining different Woodcast products.

The material is designed for medical casts but there is no reason not to use it in other applications where you need easy moldable . There is no need to remove the X-ray transparent Woodcast for imaging, which also saves both time and material.

Available in several different thicknesses, Woodcast can be easily cut both cold and warm. Support and rigidity can be adjusted by layering and combining different Woodcast products.
The 1mm version of Woodcast is a thin, ribbon-like solution that is used mainly with other Woodcast products. It is suitable for use as a finger splint, for example. Extremely easy to mould, it fits even the most challenging anatomical shapes. The product can be stretched when heated, and it retains its shape as it cools down.
Woodcast 2 mm is soft is very self-adhesive so it’s easy to combine it with other Woodcast products. By doing so, you can easily adjust the support and rigidity of the cast or splint you’re working on.
4mm is the strongest Woodcast alternative. Still easy to mould, it maintains its position even when casting the most demanding fractures.
