With a population of 9 billion people expected in the next 15 years, the ‘take-make-waste’ approach isn’t sustainable. Leading businesses, supported by governments are exploring how to make the circular economy happen. In this new world, waste will be eradicated and we will reuse, repair, remanufacture and recycle products, protect the environment and create value for the benefit of everyone.
This is where you come in. If you want to understand how you can contribute to the circular economy, this course is for you. You will gain understanding of the concepts, strategies and technologies that enable a circular economy. Opportunities and barriers in the transition towards a more circular system will be discussed and many examples and case studies are given along the way.
The course is created by TU Delft in collaboration with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Sustainability. The course will start in October 2015 and is open and free for everyone!!! Enroll now!
