Sustainability Aspects: Industry best practices: Applying data on the environmental and regulatory properties of materials

The Story

For those who missed the webinar; Granta sent me some information on Ecoinvent data in granta and the presentation material, excluded Kim Marshalls’ demonstration

Guest speaker, Professor Mike Ashby (author of the textbook “Materials and the Environment”) will discuss sources for data on the environmental properties of materials and processes, the role of environmental indicators, and the importance of traceability. Kim Marshall, Eco Design Technical Lead at Granta, will discuss industry requirements for data on topics such as restricted substances.

Join this short webinar on Tuesday, May 20, to learn more about Granta’s range of data on: eco properties; restricted substances and the legislations that impact them; and critical material. We’ll also be asking:

What is eco data?
How is it different to familiar engineering data?
And how should it be applied?
What data can help us track the impact of environmental regulations?
